What are the reasons that can cause a screw conveyor to break?
If the auger is broken, the resistance should be very high. It is either due to a stuck driven bearing, or there is a large solid object stuck in the middle section. The gearbox should give some signs; the gears in the gearbox can break
It indicates that the resistance is too high; it wasn’t taken into account during design, or it’s a problem with manufacturing
