Dear static equipment designers at the design institute, how have you all been lately? There’s no hope, no way out!
Turning to engineering management, but there are no projects available – this is a precursor to losing my job
People from design institutes, the unemployed have passed by

The seasons change; winter has arrived. Find a place to spend it well, and spring will not be far away.
I haven’t even entered the design institute yet, but someone who works on pressure vessel design passed by. Thinking about it, I wonder if I might run out of food by tomorrow
Comrade on the 6th floor, I admire your calmness. The key issue is that nowadays pressure vessels are sold by weight, and the design costs are free; it seems that the designs produced by design institutes might still be useful for use in manufacturing plants.
The equipment design work done by design institutes can indeed be taken over by manufacturing plants (especially for less complex equipment). There are indeed not many projects at the moment; I wonder, if design institutes were to lay off staff, which departments would be affected first? Does it seem that piping comes first? The second digit of the device? What about coming down? They won’t lay off the workers in the production process either, right?
No way, can the design cost for custom equipment account for around 30% of the total design cost?
For now, the only option is to turn to the device manufacturer, but it seems their compensation is quite low
