The PH probe keeps leaking fluid; what can be done if it’s difficult to seal it?
Just replace the one that’s broken! It will affect the accuracy of the measurements, right? It’s also a waste and not environmentally friendly... Isn’t that true? A humble attempt to stimulate further discussion:
Move the instrumentation fittings to the other side; prolonged dripping is often caused by excessive torque applied during installation, which damages the threads of the fittings or the sealing structure of the connectors.
Is it the probe itself that is leaking, or are the mounting brackets for the pipes causing the leakage? Installing rubber filters on the mounting brackets can solve this problem.
We all install the pH probe between the manual valves before and after a control valve, at a position from which it can be removed at any time.
Is LZ’s pH meter connected by threads? Can’t even wrap more Teflon tape around it? The pressure is still too high. We also have similar pH meters, but they are not connected to the process pipelines; instead, a separate small tube is used, with small stop valves placed at both ends.
