A few days ago, a client from Xinxiang, Henan, called to inquire about ordering a cast steel check valve and sent me detailed specifications. This client was extremely careful; although it was just one valve, it was clear that he was very responsible and dedicated. We keep cast steel check valves in stock for a long time; they are ready for shipment once painted. So that same afternoon, we packed the check valves and, along with the nameplate, certificate of conformity, inspection report, and shipping list, sent them to the customer via specialized logistics service so that they could receive the goods as soon as possible. Early this morning, the customer called and said that they had received the check valve, but that the material was incorrect – it wasn’t a cast steel check valve. I was confused; how could it not be a cast steel one? Could it possibly be made of cast iron? Later, the customer said that the shipping list you gave me indicated that it was a carbon steel check valve! ! ! ! ! !
