The composition of electroplating wastewater is quite complex; it contains heavy metal ions such as chromium, cadmium, nickel, copper, zinc, gold, and silver, as well as other substances. If the temperature is appropriate, pumps made of fluoroplastic materials can be used. In the absence of particles, acid-resistant silicon carbide machine seals are generally sufficient； If the wastewater contains particulate impurities, wear resistance must be considered, and pumps made of ultra-high molecular weight materials can be used. The specific selection still needs to be made based on the different operating conditions on site; centrifugal pumps are the ones I have encountered most often
