The specialty gas market still has strong potential, and Lianhua Linde has launched new projects~~ A groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Lianhua Linde gas project in Fuzhou. The groundbreaking ceremony for this project took place recently in Phase 2 of the Optoelectronics Park in the Rongqiao Development Zone. This marks another important upstream supporting project that has officially commenced construction, following the start of work on the Dongxu Optoelectronics project, which is part of BOE’s related projects. This project is jointly invested by Taiwan’s Uni-President Gas Company and Germany’s Linde Group; it is primarily engaged in the production of high-purity nitrogen, which is supplied to BOE’s 8.5-generation LCD panel factory as high-purity gas products. It constitutes an essential upstream supporting facility for BOE’s 8.5-generation LCD panel project. The investment in this project amounts to 30 million US dollars, with a registered capital of 12 million US dollars. The annual production volume will be 130 million cubic meters, and the annual output value is expected to exceed 80 million yuan. It is understood that Linde Group is a global leader in gas supply and gas engineering, with its headquarters located in Munich, Germany. Currently, it has over 60,000 employees worldwide, with global sales exceeding 17 billion euros in 2014; its operations are present in more than 100 countries across the world.
All on LLH are nitrogen generators; this project should use the Spectra process
In Beijing, Linde has already worked with BOE, and this project can be seen as a continuation of that cooperation.
