In a project I worked on recently, the raw material contained bromine. Previously, air compression was used for transportation, but currently, due to the high height at which the material needs to be transported, the pressure required using air compression is too high. I’m not sure what the maximum conveying height is. If a pump is to be used, it is recommended to opt for an imported diaphragm pump, with the flow components made of PVDF material; The head of a pneumatic diaphragm pump can reach around 80 meters, which is sufficient to transport bromine to a height of approximately 25 meters. The storage and transfer equipment for bromine must have high quality; otherwise, their lifespan will be very short.
