The design temperature of the hot steam needs to be checked. Since it is overheated, the steam temperature may be quite high, exceeding the acceptable range for steel pipes.
At present, many main steam pipes in domestic waste heat power generation systems are of low pressure, but the steam within them is still superheated. Such pipes are often not designed on the same scale as heating networks or low-pressure fluid pipelines; their design parameters are lower than those of power pipelines, yet higher than those of ordinary fluid and heating networks. There are no relevant standards specifying the classification of such pipes or whether they should be evaluated as power pipelines or pressure pipelines. Many standards do not take into account the parameters specific to waste heat power generation.
Since it is steam, CJJ34 can be used as a reference for selection, though the material choice will inevitably be more conservative. It’s also present in 50316 and 20801, but not to such an extent
