What is the purpose of drilling screw holes in the perforated reinforcement ring? Please provide an answer

How do you conduct a airtightness test? Why must it be threaded holes? Ordinary holes can also be used for venting air

Threaded holes are required to conduct a gas-tightness test; you can take a look at the reinforcement standards.
It is used as ventilation holes when welding reinforcement plates, to prevent the heat generated during welding from affecting a full weld of the reinforcement ring.

It seems there are many such posts; the original poster should do a search. The openings in the reinforcement plates are divided into smooth holes and threaded holes; both serve the purpose of allowing for the welding of exhaust and leakage signals. The difference is that for reinforcement plates with threaded holes, a gas-tightness test must be conducted after welding (by introducing 0.4–0.5 bar of compressed air; threaded holes facilitate the connection of fittings) to check whether there are any leaks in the fillet welds of the reinforcement plate.
