As the title suggests, can a Karl Fischer titrator be used for the analysis of volatiles in resin paste? Is the paste resin industry useful?

The original poster should first confirm whether all the volatiles in the resin are water As far as I know, the volatiles of polymeric materials, in addition to the water adsorbed on the surface, also include some small organic molecules as well as a small amount of other components adsorbed on the surface. Using the Karl Fischer reagent for analysis, only moisture can be determined; volatile components that do not react with the Karl Fischer reagent cannot be measured. It is recommended that the original poster consult information on measuring the volatiles in gum resins.
