How are carbon steel and stainless steel containers for normal pressure applications quoted? Is it currently the net weight multiplied by a coefficient? What is that coefficient?

These days, for some carbon steel and stainless steel equipment with low technical complexity, the cost consists of material expenses plus a portion of labor costs; in other words, workers still need to be paid, and although projects can help offset some of these costs, the employees still need to be maintained even when there are no projects. During bidding, some people do it at a loss (of course, there are also those who cut corners and use inferior quality materials to make a profit). With the current situation, it’s pointless to overthink things. Haha!
If calculated in detail, by categorizing the materials and adding up their weights respectively, along with labor costs, equipment depreciation, administrative expenses, financial expenses, and an appropriate profit margin... all of this is considered trade secret by each company...
