What is generally used as a basis for injecting or stopping the injection of corrosion inhibitors in the high-pressure air coolers of hydrogenation units? Is it appropriate to decide whether to inject corrosion inhibitors based on process anti-corrosion parameters such as the iron ion content in high-sulfur wastewater?
If it is a corrosion inhibitor, then iron ions are the determining factor. Our system has a process for injecting demineralized water before air cooling, and the corrosion inhibitor is injected from that source
Generally, conventional gasoline and diesel do not contain corrosion inhibitors; however, corrosion inhibitors are necessary in the hydrogenation processes for wax oil or residue
