Problems with the oil slinger ring in centrifugal pumps

At Dashiemen, one of the air compressors in my company doesn’t have an oil slinger in its bearing housing. I want to install a PTFE one – could that cause any problems? Are there any requirements for installing an oil slinger?
It is normal for the pump not to have an oil slinger; there is no need to add one. When filling with oil, ensure that the oil level reaches 1/2 to 2/3 of the height of the bearing balls
Fill the bearing housing with oil to the appropriate level so that the bearings do not run out of oil. This is the manufacturer’s design; there’s no need to add an oil slinger
When manufacturers ship pumps, they conduct tests on them; the absence of an oil slinger in the pump indicates that there are no issues with bearing lubrication. You can add an oil slinger if you wish.
I installed a wiper ring; after that, the vibration level was 9.8, which is quite high. Is this related to the installation of the wiper ring?
As long as the lubricant type and the oil level in the bearing housing meet the requirements specified in the manual, it’s fine.
