Are you referring to the tower for separating light and heavy gasoline? For this tower, I think the ultimate goal is to extract as much light gasoline as possible, provided that its sulfur content meets the required standards.
So, are there any requirements regarding the separation of olefins in light and heavy gasoline? Where are the specific key points for operation?
The olefin content in FCC gasoline decreases as the boiling range increases; therefore, the more light gasoline that is extracted, the less olefins there are in the heavy gasoline, and the less RON loss occurs during the hydrogenation of the heavy gasoline. However, too much light gasoline cannot be extracted; the main priority is to ensure that its sulfur content meets the specified standards, and only then can an appropriate amount of light gasoline be extracted. I’m not entirely sure about the specific procedures either, but increasing the reflux ratio should have an effect.
