Thoughts on skipping grades

I consider myself not very smart; looking back at the path I’ve taken, I’ve always followed the usual steps. As a child, I envied my peers who could go straight to the first grade without even finishing kindergarten. After starting work, I envied my colleagues who could buy cigarettes for their children as soon as they got married. But... today, I have achieved my own breakthrough – I’ve been promoted from the first grade to the fourth grade at Haichuan. I am sincerely grateful for the Haichuan Anti-War Building Competition, held to commemorate the 70th anniversary of China’s victory in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the 70th anniversary of the world’s victory over fascism. It was this competition that gave me the opportunity to realize my dream. I also thank all the participants in the competition for their generosity. Finally, let’s recall the three principles of certain victory: Justice will prevail! Peace will prevail! The people will surely win!
