Also, prepare plenty of examples of your achievements, emphasizing your professional skills in your work experience.
In Beijing, I applied twice; the thesis was the same, probably just the formatting differed. . . The second time, I tried it but did not publish any papers. The first time I asked, there was basically no content related to papers or work. The second time was all about the content of the papers.
