How to manage walkie-talkies in chemical plant workshops?

As the title suggests, our factory operates on a three-shift system, and there are nearly twenty walkie-talkies in use on site. Issues such as lost devices that cannot be detected in time, and damaged devices for which it’s impossible to identify the responsible person, arise. I would appreciate it if experienced colleagues could share the walkie-talkie management systems used in their companies. Thank you!

The solution is to have handovers from person to person, job to job; the person who uses it is responsible for any issues that arise during its use (damage or wear and tear due to normal use should be the employer’s responsibility, right? ;P)

There is the issue of everyone switching over, right! Hehe! A registration form for use during shifts shall be established and incorporated into the shift system; there are 20 units, to be managed by 20 people who take turns using them. No matter how they lend them to others, the person who used them must return them before ending their shift, otherwise they will have to pay compensation! Even if he gives it to someone else to use, he must retrieve it himself before leaving work!
Each radio here has a number, with one corresponding to each work shift that uses it. Furthermore, during shift handover, it is necessary to specify the number of walkie-talkies, their usage status, and battery capacity.
