As the title suggests: What is the structure of the heaters/heat exchangers used in offshore drilling crude oil transport ships? I recently had discussions with a shipowner company in Malaysia. During the transport of crude oil from the drilling platform to shore, the crude oil tank on the transport ship needs to be heated, and a heater is used to warm the crude oil. Who has had contact with them?

You mentioned that the crude oil tank needs to be heated; using coiled tubes in that tank would work; If heating is done before entering the warehouse and the warehouse only serves to maintain temperature, then a shell-and-tube heat exchanger should be used. As I understand it, heating before loading and heating inside the cargo hold are both possible options. However, “heating inside the tank” is not the responsibility of oil fields; oil fields are only responsible for filling the tank with oil. Heating in the cabin is the responsibility of the cruise ship manufacturer.
