The noise level in the workshop is too high; I’ve been looking for a specialized company to provide noise reduction solutions. I studied chemical engineering; I only know that there are theories regarding heat preservation, and that these can be used for calculations. I’m not sure if there is any theory related to noise reduction, such as the sound insulation coefficients of various materials; could this be used to determine what kind of sound insulation material is needed to achieve the desired effect? Are there any fellow sailors with experience in this area?
