I have two questions: 1. For a shell gasification furnace, to what pressure should the burner be raised during startup before switching to the coal powder burner?； 2. How to preheat the circulating chilled air compressor system
Under normal circumstances, the compressor can be started once it is activated. The pressure required to start the compressor is usually around 0.8 MAP, though this varies from one plant to another. In Shell boilers, the heating process involves introducing startup steam into the drum for preheating; once the startup burner is lit, the compressor is started, which increases the temperature throughout the system. During the heating phase, before ignition, the water walls of the drum are heated using inert gas, and it is important to control the temperature difference within the system.
