The reason for this is that it is necessary to take into account how the outlet pipeline affects the ease of maintenance of the air cooler
Perhaps the heat around the pump could affect the efficiency of the air cooler
Is it for maintenance purposes? I think it’s more likely that the high temperature of the surrounding air caused by the motor’s heat dissipation is affecting the cooling efficiency
There’s no such rule. Whether there are air coolers in the ductwork or not, pumps can still be installed on both the inside and outside of the ductwork. What you need to pay attention to is ensuring proper height coordination and leaving space for pathways in between. When there are air coolers in the ductwork, I’ve also installed pumps directly beneath the ductwork, with the outlet pipes leading straight to the lowest level within the ductwork at a height of 5 meters, or to the second level of ductwork at a height of 8 meters. According to the project requirements, 500 meters of space should be left on each side of the lowest level of ductwork without any piping, so that the pump pipes can go directly to the second level.
Our air coolers are located in the pipe gallery, and the pump pipelines can be placed on either the inside or outside side; the main thing is to ensure that the pipeline layout is appropriate
But the specifications for the layout of chemical equipment specify this; it’s not something that’s invented out of thin air. Perhaps you didn’t realize that it was necessary to do this before

The pump is on the ground level; above it, at levels +5, +8, and +11, there are three layers of pipe trays, while at level +14 there are bridges for instruments, power supplies, and telecommunications. The air cooling units are located on the top platform, which is at level +17. It’s too far away
But why does this specification state that if the temperature of the liquid pumped by the pump exceeds 340 degrees, the pump should be installed outside the pipe rack, at a distance of three meters from the pipe rack columns?
