The pipeline of the metering pump often gets clogged; this metering pump is primarily used to flush a canned motor pump. During pump operation, it is not easy to detect blockages in the pipeline of this metering pump. What methods can be used to prevent such blockages, or what type of flow meter should be installed to detect blockages as soon as possible and allow for timely intervention?
If the pressure gauge installed at the outlet happens to be right in front of it, the gauge will still display the pressure of the pump, making it difficult to determine the actual value.
Flow alarm for pipelines, and temperature alarm for shielded pumps.
A pressure switch can be installed at the pump’s outlet; when the outlet is blocked and pressure builds up, an interlock mechanism will shut down the motor. Of course, it is also possible to reduce the motor’s current protection threshold, so that the motor shuts down when the current reaches a certain level~~
