For the loading of gasoline and diesel, are there any requirements regarding flow rate and pressure at the beginning and end of the loading process? For a foreign project we are working on, the client requires that the pressure at the ship’s interface not exceed 20 PSI at the start of loading. Do you have any such requirements?

1 bar = 14.5 PSI; 20 PSI = 0.138 MPa. I haven’t heard of any similar requirements. At the start of loading, when the loading arm or hose is connected, the interface pressure is at atmospheric pressure and does not exceed 20 PSI. Just as a storage tank requires a very low initial flow rate when it starts to be filled with liquid, the pressure will also not drop below 20 PSI.
