For catalytic fresh and regenerated slide valve passages, is steam or air commonly used? Do you have any issues choosing steam/wind during operation?
In fact, some designs are made for safety reasons. The steam used in the regenerative slide valve is there to prevent excess air from entering and coming into contact with oil and gas, which could pose a risk; air is used for the plug valves, as it has to be burned anyway
The raw slurry valve must be purged using steam as the medium for cleaning its valve passages, because the raw catalyst present in that valve is oily and contains coke; air definitely cannot be used as a purging medium； The valve passages at the slide valve are purged, at least in our company we use steam for this purpose.

For design purposes, what medium is actually used?
In fact, neither steam nor wind has much impact. Ours is steam.
Now it’s the three checks and four fixes, so reasonable suggestions are being sought
