Experts, can ordinary centrifugal pumps be used for unloading light oil vehicles? Will there be gas entering the pump at the end of unloading? Near the end of unloading, could there be a problem of vapor and oil from the bottom of the tank truck entering the pump at the same time, resulting in cavitation?
When using a centrifugal pump for direct unloading, it generally isn’t possible to remove everything completely, in order to avoid creating a vacuum
A sliding vane pump is chosen due to its strong self-priming capability; it can handle media that are a mixture of gas and liquid, and it can be used as a substitute for systems used for cleaning silos and unloading cargo
Cars are equipped with their own pumps, so there is no need for an additional unloading pump.
Many tank trucks do not come equipped with pumps.

Just like when unloading here, we use centrifugal pumps for this purpose as well. Towards the end of the unloading process, it’s necessary to carefully control the pump’s outlet – reducing the flow rate when needed. At the location where unloading takes place, there is either a slope or some kind of inclined surface; once the pump has drawn everything out, the inlet pipe needs to be controlled as well (those with less technical skill may even have to use a bucket to control the flow). Use a hose at the lowest point of the inlet in the barrel to pump out the oil
