Some friends asked what the differences between these three terms are; I believe those who have studied law should be able to understand the distinct meanings of these words. The territory of the People’s Republic of China refers to all areas under its jurisdiction, including its land, territorial waters, airspace, as well as Chinese ships or aircraft that are considered to be an extension of the territory in accordance with international treaties and practices ； Within the People’s Republic of China, it is limited to the territories under actual control, while the jurisdictional areas within the 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government are even more specific. Haha, there aren’t many people as knowledgeable and talented as you. But indeed, there are still people who don’t know the difference between territorial sea and territorial waters, and who aren’t aware that aircraft are also included; that’s why I’m adding extra details here.
