We have a high-temperature hot oil pump, a centrifugal pump with flushing oil; the inlet filter is fine and the pressure at the pump outlet is normal, but why is the flow rate always insufficient? ? ? ?

If it’s confirmed that the pressure gauge is working fine, and since the outlet pressure is normal, it should be possible to draw a sufficient volume of fluid. What about the motor current? Could it be that the pump chosen is too small?
The current situation is that one unit is in use while the other serves as a backup; one works normally while the other fails to achieve any flow rate. Air has been released at both high and low points, the inlet filter has been cleaned, and the motor speed has also been checked – yet still no flow occurs. What could be the reason?
Inspect the inlet and outlet piping systems to check whether the piping and valves of the two pumps are exactly the same.
There is an opportunity to swap the impellers of the two pumps. If there is a change in flow rate, it indicates that there are differences in the manufacturing of the impellers, and the pump manufacturer should be notified to address the issue; if the flow rate remains unchanged, then the causes need to be sought in the pipelines, operating procedures, and other aspects.
There must be something that has been overlooked; otherwise everything would be the same, so how could there be differences in traffic levels?
