The negative pressure is adjusted by using the flue dampers and the inducer inlet dampers, so as to keep one of them as constant as possible while adjusting the other
When adjusting the negative pressure, control the induced draft fan first; if that doesn’t work, then adjust the flue dampers. The oxygen content is mainly regulated by the air valves. There are significant changes in the amount of gas before and after tower replacement, and the negative pressure in the furnace may fluctuate. It is best to keep the fractionation liquid level at a higher level before replacing the tower, so as to retain more heat for heat exchange with the feed material; this will help reduce fluctuations in the furnace’s performance.
