For a heat exchanger, the tube side uses calcium chloride-based brine at a temperature of -12°C; is it appropriate to use 304 stainless steel for the heat exchange tubes? . . Due to the special properties of the medium, stainless steel is required. . . . .
304 has poor resistance to chloride corrosion; could considering increasing the cost to use duplex steel be an option?
