The temperature of the heavy diesel extraction line is 268 degrees, while the reflux temperature is 102 degrees. Under normal conditions, freezing of the heating system should not occur; the heating system is only used during shutdowns in winter. During previous inspections, no issues were detected, but when checking at higher points, it was found that there was snow and ice accumulation on a section of the heating pipeline at the top of the tower. Inspection revealed that the heating for the return line of the heavy diesel unit and the heating for the overhead gas pipeline were connected together; the total length of this piping was over 100 meters. The inlet and outlet lines of the heating manifold were found to be hot, yet the overhead part of the pipeline was frozen.
