Which connections on pressure vessels require reinforcement bars. 1. What is the nominal diameter? 2. What is the extrusion length? 3. Which type of pipe (process connection or instrumentation connection)? 4. Radial splice, axial, or elbow?

Whether it is a process connection or an instrumentation connection, there is essentially no difference for the equipment. Except in the cases specified in the standards above, regardless of the size of the connection, if it is a local level gauge port, it is advisable to add support gussets as well
