In the ammonia-based desulfurization process, the size of the sulfuric acid an crystals in the concentration stage decreases. Adding ash does have some effect, but over time the particles continue to get smaller. There is a layer of loose material at the top of the solid content; as production continues, the proportion of this loose material increases, until eventually no particles can be detected anymore, and the centrifuge is unable to discharge the material. The boiler in the upstream facility uses coal with high calcium and high aluminum content. What are the possible reasons for this? Thank you
Just to spark some discussion. One of the possible reasons could be an excessively low crystallization temperature, high concentration, or excessive stirring intensity, all of which lead to too fast a crystallization rate and crystal fragmentation, preventing the formation of larger particles
The crystallization temperature should be reduced, and crystallization additives should be added

We have encountered this issue, and upon analysis, there are two reasons for it: 1. The dust collector in the boiler has poor dust removal efficiency, allowing dust to enter the ammonium sulfate solution and affecting its crystallization; 2. The high COD in the ammonium sulfate solution affects the crystallization of ammonium sulfate.
The main problem should be the low oxidation rate
