For wastewater treatment, where the COD level is 100 and the ammonia nitrogen level is 20, what chemicals can be used for treatment without resorting to biological treatment processes, in order to reduce the COD level to 50 and the ammonia nitrogen level to 5?
Use PAC/PAM air flotation, or add SN-1
Floculants can only remove suspended solids, right? What is SN1?
COD removal: 1. Dilute with water and discharge directly； 2. Conduct coagulation experiments to observe the effects ； 3. Ozone oxidation experiment to observe the effects ； 4. Sand filtration + activated carbon adsorption experiment to observe the effects ； 5. Iron-carbon or iron-carbon + Fenton experiment to observe the effects ； The process plan is selected based on the experimental results. Ammonia nitrogen removal: Sodium hypochlorite can be used to remove ammonia nitrogen via the breakpoint method.
Without biochemical treatment, to remove COD, air flotation or advanced oxidation methods are the only options; to remove ammonia nitrogen, air flotation combined with activated carbon is the only solution
