Can instruments such as thermometers and pressure gauges used for installing plastic pipes be connected using threads? Flange connection is still the only option, such as for UPVC pipes, PP pipes, FPRR pipes, ABS pipes, etc
Can’t we use threads? Is it because there are no specialized threaded connectors? Are flanges generally DN20 or DN25?
The flange connection and the process go well together. Most of the media in fiberglass-reinforced plastic pipes are corrosive
If the pressure rating and strength permit it, the use of threads is feasible; however, machining threads into plastic parts may present certain limitations, so using flanges is likely to be more convenient.
The pressure isn’t high; it should be possible to connect using threads
See what the level of pressure is; if it’s not high, a threaded connection can be used
