Workers were welding the pipes for transporting the gas, while the hardening of the site and road construction were in full swing. “The construction work for Phase 1 began last August; equipment installation has now been completed. Individual unit testing, as well as the coordination of equipment within the station and furnace drying, have all been finished, and the facility is ready for gas supply. Currently, work is underway on installing the gas pipelines and conducting pressure tests. ”said Liu Jun, the company’s general manager. Jiasheng Energy Co., Ltd. is a coal-to-gas energy company established through a PPP model by Inner Mongolia Xinja Energy Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. and Wuhai Haisheng Company. The project covers an area of 2.58 hectares; the initial investment was 50 million yuan, during which 3 gas generators with a capacity of 4.2 meters each were built. The facility is capable of producing 350 million cubic meters of high-quality gas per year, as well as processing 120,000 tons of coke particles and coal annually. The gas produced by this coal-to-gas project is different from conventional coke oven gas; the process used in this project employs a two-stage gas generator gasification technology. The so-called two-stage process involves the first stage, in which the main furnace produces gas, which is then sent to the second stage for purification and desulfurization; after that, it is pressurized and delivered to various gas-consuming enterprises within the industrial park. “The gas produced using this manufacturing technology enables continuous feeding and continuous gas production; it not only features high production capacity and low costs but also boasts advanced technology, with a low sulfur content in the gas,” said Liu Jun. “In the first stage of production, the hydrogen sulfide content in the gas reaches 800 ppm, but after purification in the second stage and desulfurization using the wet method, this level can be reduced to below 50 ppm, which meets environmental standards – making it a clean energy source that fully complies with relevant standards.” ” The first phase of Jiaseng Energy Company’s coal-to-gas project converts the coal resources available in Wuhai City into coal gas through scientific and environmentally friendly processes. This provides high-quality, low-cost coal gas energy for the enterprises located in the Xilai Feng Industrial Park in Hainan District, thereby solving the gas supply issues for these companies. “The gas we produce is mainly supplied to 5 enterprises within the industrial park, including Hei Mao Carbon Black, Hei Mao San Xing, Yadong Naphthalene product lines, and Xin Jia New Energy Company. ”Liu Jun said, “At present, the furnace drying phase for the first phase of the coal-to-gas project has been completed.
