On July 8, 2016, Lanshi Group signed an investment agreement for a demonstration project on pressurized gasification technology using circulating fluidized beds with Gansu Jinchang Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. This project utilizes a new technology for pressurized gasification using a circulating fluidized bed; this technology was developed by the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, with Lansi Group holding 50% of the intellectual property rights. Under the agreement, the project is to be implemented by Lansi Engineering Research Institute; Lansi Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. is responsible for the EPC general contracting, while Hualu Technology is in charge of the engineering design.
Great job, Lanshi – keep up the good work!
On November 6, 2019, the 1,000-ton per year circulating fluidized bed pressurized gasification demonstration project carried out by Lanshi Jinhua successfully completed the entire process, producing qualified product – liquid ammonia. This marked a successful first operation in which circulating fluidized bed gasification technology was used to replace traditional fixed-bed gas generation methods in order to supply raw gas for ammonia synthesis plants. In 2016, a 1,000-ton-scale pilot project for pressurized gasification using circulating fluidized bed technology was implemented in Jinchang as a key investment attraction project. It was developed jointly by Lansi Group and the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, with the aim of replacing the highly polluting and costly fixed-bed gasification technology with a cleaner and less expensive circulating fluidized bed technology.
Could any member share the pressure of this fluidized-bed gasification process, the type of coal used, and the operation data?
