What are the reasons why a solenoid valve cannot be closed?
In the cases I’ve seen, the cylinder exhaust port gets blocked.
Could you describe the problem in more detail? What type of solenoid valve is it? What measures have you taken when it fails to close? Such as measuring signals

Is the air source dirty, and is the coil charged?
Air path blockage (catalyst converter blockage, blockage of the air passages inside the valve core – dirty instrument air, poor operating conditions on site), burned-out coils, low pressure of instrument air, and aging of the sealing rings inside the solenoid valve resulting in air leakage. Analyze specific issues specifically
A solenoid valve is primarily composed of a coil, an iron core, and a spring. There could be several reasons why it cannot be closed: 1. In the case of a normally open type valve, issues such as insufficient power supply to the coil, short circuits, or damage to the coil can prevent the magnetic force from causing it to open; 2. Normally closed type: the spring deteriorates or foreign objects get stuck, preventing it from closing due to a lack of elasticity ; 3. The exhaust outlet is blocked and cannot be closed
If the coil is powered, it’s usually because the friction inside the valve core has increased, and the spring can no longer overcome it; try adding some lubricant to see if that helps :)
