Questions about diaphragm compressors

With the pre-alarm function disabled, and in the event that three diaphragms fail during operation, can flammable gases penetrate into the main cylinder? If it gets inserted into the main cylinder, at this point the bearing shells will have been damaged due to friction (they will have turned black); could this lead to combustion or an explosion?
If it is a combustible gas, an explosion is possible; the gas enters the crankcase and cylinder block through the oil cylinders (without protective gas), and explosions can occur as a result of friction and impact.
It’s hydrogen. Natural gas (without an inert gas atmosphere) – just thinking about it is scary.
This situation was detected in advance (the valve turned black); steam was coming directly from the main cylinder, and all the alarms were completely useless; the operator knew nothing (he’s a complete novice). Everyone in the company was in a state of panic. The problem is that it’s not just this unit – there will be more issues like this, and it’s unclear how often domestic diaphragm compressors need to be serviced
I have seen accidents in which seal leaks from piston compressors reached the middle section of the machine and the crankcase, resulting in explosions that sent the viewing windows flying.
