I posted this thread in the food section, but I really want to share it with my dear alumni! Revisiting a classic – Lao Gan Ma Egg Fried Pancake. I remember during my college days, having gotten tired of all the staple foods and dishes served in the cafeteria, so we would go to smaller eateries to try something different: Lao Gan Ma Egg Fried Pancake! Why is this everyone’s favorite? ? ? Because it’s cheap! ! Basically, it’s 3 yuan or 3.5 yuan! Why is there a 50-cent difference? Should I add Lao Gan Ma or not? ! ! Why is it so cheap? Because no oil is released! ! ! Eggs are used to make pancakes mixed with flour, and a little bit of them is added to each portion of the fried pancake! There is a story used to describe the situation where there is no oil in the fried pancake: One day, a girl was preparing for an interview to join the student council; she wore a brand-new white shirt at lunchtime, but accidentally dropped the fried pancake on her shirt while eating! ! ! ! I wiped hard with paper, and there wasn’t a trace left! ! Fortunately, the boss didn’t pour oil! ! ! And then this story spread widely! The boss wasn’t willing to go along and said something even more classic: “Isn’t there oil in Lao Gan Ma?” ! ! !
