For PRO/II, SRKM is currently the most recommended option, as it has a wide range of applications (especially when no more suitable thermodynamic method is known). Some simple recommendations: for distillation processes such as atmospheric and vacuum distillation, Grayson-Streed and BK10 are used; for light-end processes, SRK and PR are appropriate.
