The overall production level remains low, so urea prices are currently stable. The prevailing ex-factory prices in Shandong region remain stable at 1,140–1,160 yuan per ton (the same unit is used thereafter). The shortage of supply for industrial compound fertilizer manufacturers has slightly decreased, and due to the availability of supplies from external sources, some manufacturers offering high-end products have reduced their prices by 10 yuan. If the demand at compound fertilizer manufacturers reaches saturation while supplies from external sources still remain unsold, urea prices in Shandong region could fall further ； The mainstream factory prices in areas such as Shanxi and Jiangsu along the Two Rivers remain stable ； The order situation for compound fertilizer factories in Anhui region is also good. Additionally, as some distributors purchase urea for use as fall base fertilizer, the prevailing ex-factory price of urea in that area has risen by 10 yuan, to between 1180 and 1210 yuan; some manufacturers report a slight shortage of supply ； The mainstream ex-factory prices in Hubei region remain stable at 1,220–1,240 yuan. Due to a slight increase in demand from industry and agriculture, as well as other factors, sales conditions for local manufacturers have improved; however, the prices for industrial use remain slightly lower ； According to China Fertilizer Network, some manufacturers in Xinjiang are sending products to the Chongqing area... Regarding large-grain urea, some manufacturers in Shanxi reported an increase in orders from downstream clients, leading to an upward adjustment in the ex-factory price by 50 yuan to 1,100 yuan. Regarding ports, the price of urea in our country at major ports such as Yantai Port is 1,150 yuan per ton, …… It is expected that India’s MMTC company will hold a new tender at the beginning of September. Overall, there are currently few positive factors in terms of exports. Domestic fertilizer preparation for the autumn season has just begun, and the demand from compound fertilizer manufacturers for urea is decreasing; therefore, urea prices are likely to remain stable in the short term. As overall production levels rise, urea prices will continue to stay low.
