The pressure swing adsorption method used in PSA nitrogen generators employs two towers in parallel, which alternate between pressure-driven adsorption and pressure-release regeneration to produce a continuously flowing stream of nitrogen gas. A pressure difference is created between the two towers to facilitate the transfer of air flow; the pressure equalizing valve is a control component in fluid transport systems, with functions such as shutting off flow, regulating it, directing it, preventing backflow, stabilizing pressure, splitting flow, or releasing pressure in case of overflow. Function of the pressure equalizing valve in PSA nitrogen generators: 1. Pressure equalization helps to increase the purity of nitrogen more rapidly. 2. It also improves the efficiency of carbon molecular sieves. 3. It enables continuous production of high-quality nitrogen during the switching between the two adsorption towers
Personally, I think it is mainly to increase gas utilization efficiency. Ensure yield.
There are two functions: one is to increase the yield, and the other is to reduce pressure spikes in the separation tower and protect the molecular sieve
