The material of the container jacket is Q235B; cooling water flows inside the jacket, and the outer surface is coated with an anti-corrosion paint – what type of paint should be used?
In accordance with the requirements of JB/T 4711-2003 \"Coating and Transport Packaging for Pressure Vessels\", the outer surface of the vessel shell shall be coated with at least two layers of alkyd primer, with the dry film thickness of the primer being no less than 30μm. Under normal circumstances, the outer surface of the container shell should be coated with a topcoat; the color of this topcoat should be light. If the drawings specify otherwise, the requirements in the drawings shall be followed.
If the operating temperature is below 200°C, a red lead primer will suffice.
