Electric heat tracing is used on insulated pipes; have you come across such pipes before? Since the cold pipeline is a slurry pipeline, electric heating is required at some dead ends to prevent crystals from causing blockages.
The crystallization point of the medium shouldn’t be below 0 degrees, right? Below room temperature but above zero degrees, insulation is used; electric heating is merely employed to maintain the medium at a certain temperature in order to prevent crystallization.
