In alumina production, is the dissolution sleeve a pressure vessel or a pipeline? Same manufacturing process, same structure, same inner and outer tube diameters – why are some designated as containers while others are designated as pipes? Why isn’t there a unified standard! !
It should be a pressure vessel, as the current alumina production process makes use of pipeline leaching in the leaching workshop. Pipeline leaching systems have several different pressure levels, typically 1.6 MPa, 2.5 MPa, 4.0 MPa, 6.3 MPa, 10.0, or 11.0 MPa; therefore, I believe it is a pressure vessel.
