The company has a 6-inch nitrogen pipeline, and now it wants to add a branch pipe to it in order to connect to another nitrogen pipeline (which is DN50). Is it necessary to apply for a change approval for this pressure pipeline? What other tasks need to be done? I would appreciate guidance from those with more experience
Please have the design unit carry out the design, add new pipeline numbers, a pipeline properties table, pipeline layout drawings and axonometric views, design specifications, and a material list, and then submit it for record-keeping
If changes are needed to the pressure pipeline, they must be handled in accordance with the change management procedures; relevant forms must be filled out, and a fire permit must be obtained, etc
For the renovation of pressure pipelines, it is necessary to submit a construction notification, engage an inspection service, obtain an inspection report upon completion as well as the design documents in order to proceed with registration for use; these documents are required for annual reviews
