Given the process conditions – pressure of 0.4 MPa, temperature of 30°C, and the presence of fine particles in the fluid along with a certain viscosity of the slurry – the plug valve was chosen as an option due to limited space and constraints on installation. However, during operation, the valve suffered from severe sticking, which affected its normal opening and closing. I searched for plug valves online, but found no good solution using such valves to address this issue; I’m seeking everyone’s input to find a way!
Which domestic manufacturers of plug valves have advantages?
It is recommended to enter “knife valve” on Taobao and give it a try; you might be able to find one that suits you. Furthermore, the choice of this type of valve is not due to an insufficient installation distance as you might think; rather, it is necessary to minimize the distance at the suction port ahead of the pump, and this valve is specifically designed for that purpose. For reference.
You can take a look at my coaxial valve. I’m not aware of your other requirements or parameters, but the fluid being handled is viscous and contains particles, and the installation space is limited – these three factors are areas in which our coaxial valves excel. https://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-1320253-1-1.html
