To weld No. 20 steel pipes with flanges made of 16Mn or A105 materials, J507 type electrodes can be used. This welding rod is suitable for welding low-alloy steel, and it possesses good mechanical properties as well as crack resistance. .
Either J427 or J507 electrodes will work; it mainly depends on which welding procedure qualification you are using
Use the same type of welding rod as that specified in the weld evaluation! J507 will do.
