I recently learned about three types of high-temperature valves produced by Leili Valves: fully metal valves, those lined with fiber cotton for heat resistance, and those made from cast materials for heat resistance. I would like to know whether these three different manufacturing processes meet the requirements necessary for high-temperature valves. What are exactly the requirements that high-temperature valves must satisfy?

It depends on your specific process requirements – for example, if you need a butterfly valve that can operate at temperatures above 500 degrees and also meets API598 leakage standards, I’m sorry, but this cannot be done in China. Generally, graphite-laminated sealing rings cannot be used at temperatures above 300 degrees.
The temperature in contact is usually around seven or eight hundred degrees
For temperatures of 700 to 800 degrees, it is necessary to use cooling techniques around the valves. Currently, valve materials that can withstand temperatures above 600 degrees are difficult to use; austenitic stainless steels such as 316H, 304H, and 347H, which are used in high-temperature applications, can only handle temperatures around 500 degrees
I visited many valve manufacturers; some of them use casting materials that are said to be able to withstand temperatures over 1,000 degrees

It’s filled with cement; the sealing at over 700 degrees should be made of F304H. However, leakage cannot be guaranteed in that case. There might be other materials available, such as Hastelloy or similar
