Specifications related to pressure pipelines, and under what circumstances is it necessary to provide notification and carry out supervision and inspection for the modification of pressure pipelines?
TSG D7006-2020 \"Rules for Supervision and Inspection of Pressure Pipelines\": 1.2.2 Construction supervision and inspection These rules apply to the supervision and inspection of the construction processes of pressure pipelines (long-distance pipelines, utility pipelines, and industrial pipelines) that fall within the scope specified in the \"Catalogue of Special Equipment\": (1) Installation process; (2) The process of modification or major repair (excluding the pipeline construction process for emergency repairs) (Note 1-4), in which the total length of pipelines carrying the same medium is replaced at one time and exceeds 100 meters. Notes 1-4: Pressure pipeline modification refers to activities that involve changing the specifications, material, or structural layout of pipelines, or altering working parameters such as the medium, pressure, and temperature within the pipelines, thereby resulting in changes in the performance parameters or structural characteristics of those pipelines. Major repairs of pressure pipelines involve replacing pipe sections using welding methods, as well as straightening valves and pipes, welding repairs to pressure-bearing components, performing sealing operations under pressure, and carrying out plugging tasks under pressure.
